exceptional reputation and practice focusing entirely on criminal
defense. In 2005, she was selected by her peers as one of the
best young lawyers in Washington and was named a “Rising
Star” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine. She prides
herself on being a dedicated, aggressive and compassionate advocate for
her clients, peers, prosecutors and the courts.
Brit seems to have been born to do this work. She has

defense lawyers through college and law school. While
attending the University of Washington, she was selected to attend a

Steve
Rosen
Mr. Rosen is a long
time resident of King
County, Washington. While studying at the University of Washington, he
received his college degree in just three years. He then attended law
school at one of the nation's top 20 law schools, the University of
Minnesota. During law school, Mr. Rosen worked as an intern for the
public defender's office, gaining valuable negotiation and trial
skills.
Mr. Rosen finished law school in the top 1/3 of his class.
After graduation, Mr. Rosen was a prosecutor in King County and then
at the Attorney General's office. Mr. Rosen then went into
private practice, focusing on criminal defense.
During the course of his career, Mr. Rosen has handled hundreds
of criminal cases. Mr. Rosen continues to educate himself in the law
and practice representing those accused of crimes by regularly
attending conferences and seminars, and by continuing to help people
clear their records. He has taught at several conferences relating to
criminal law,and he has testified in front of the State Legislature
about changes in the DUI laws.
Mr. Rosen believes that those facing a criminal record deserve
a thorough defense from an attorney who will do everything possible
to defend their rights. Getting charged with a crime is possibly the
most stressful and terrifying event a person will ever experience.
Being arrested and accused of a crime can bring humiliation on the
roadside, at the police precinct, in the courtroom, and even years
later
during job interviews and background checks. Mr. Rosen knows that, in
addition to all of the immediate penalties, a conviction for any crime
cancreate a permanent criminal record which can follow a person for
the rest of his or her life.
Mr. Rosen is a member of several legal organizations, which provide
him even more resources with which to represent you. His
membership includes the Washington Association of Criminal Defense
Attorneys, the King County Bar Association, the Washington State Bar
Association, and NORML.
Mr. Rosen is also a
part time judge for the City of Black Diamond, Washington.
Being both an advocate and a judicial officer gives Mr. Rosen great
insight into how the criminal justice system works.
